Position Overview: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Hotel/Flight Booker to join our team at GlobeTrek Consulting. As a Hotel/Flight Booker, you will be responsible for assisting clients with booking their hotel accommodations and flights, ensuring a seamless and stress-free travel experience. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, allowing you to support clients from anywhere while providing exceptional service and expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Flight Booking: Assist clients in finding and booking flights that meet their travel preferences, budget, and schedule, while also considering factors such as layovers, airline preferences, and seat preferences.
- Hotel Reservation: Research and book hotel accommodations for clients based on their destination, budget, preferred amenities, and special requests, ensuring availability and confirming reservations.
- Travel Coordination: Coordinate travel arrangements for clients, including booking airport transfers, rental cars, and other transportation services as needed to ensure a seamless travel experience.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries, addressing concerns, and offering recommendations and alternatives when necessary to meet their travel needs.
- Travel Documentation: Assist clients in obtaining necessary travel documents, such as passports, visas, and travel insurance, and provide guidance on requirements and deadlines.
- Supplier Communication: Liaise with airlines, hotels, and other travel suppliers to confirm bookings, resolve any issues or changes, and ensure that clients' travel arrangements are accurate and up-to-date.
- Budget Management: Help clients manage their travel budgets by providing transparent pricing information, offering cost-saving options, and ensuring that bookings are made within budgetary constraints.
- Emergency Assistance: Provide 24/7 support to clients during their travels, including assistance with flight changes, rebooking accommodations, and handling unforeseen emergencies or disruptions.
- Post-Travel Follow-Up: Follow up with clients after their trip to gather feedback, address any concerns or issues, and ensure their satisfaction with the overall travel experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in booking hotels and flights, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using travel booking systems, online research tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings, reservations, and travel documentation.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client needs and time zone differences.
