Job Description: GlobeTrek Consulting is currently seeking a dynamic and organized Remote Travel Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating travel itineraries, managing bookings, and ensuring smooth logistics for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate travel arrangements for clients, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
- Utilize booking platforms and travel management systems to schedule and confirm travel plans accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate with clients to gather preferences, provide itinerary options, and address any questions or concerns.
- Liaise with airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, and other vendors to secure reservations, negotiate rates, and arrange special accommodations.
- Monitor travel schedules and make adjustments as needed to accommodate changes or unforeseen circumstances.
- Provide clients with relevant travel information, including destination guides, visa requirements, and safety precautions.
- Handle cancellations, refunds, and changes to travel plans in a timely and professional manner, following established procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of travel arrangements, payments, and client interactions in our database systems.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in travel coordination, scheduling, or related roles preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in using booking systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software applications.
